Conditional Perfect - Futuro do Pretérito Composto


Observe os exemplos:

My parents would have called a doctor. (Meus pais teriam chamado o médico)

John would have gone to Paris. (John teria ido à Paris)


O Conditional Perfect é formado pelo Simple Conditional do verbo to have (would have) + o particípio passado do verbo principal.

Affirmative Form

 Peter would have caught the ball. = Peter teria pegado a bola.

would + have + past participle

past participle -> (infinitive + -ed) or (3rd column of the table of the irregular verbs)

Negative Form

 Peter wouldn't have caught the ball. = Peter não teria pegado a bola.

Na negativa, acrescenta-se o not depois do would (auxiliar do Conditional) e antes do have.

Interrogative Form

Would Peter  have caught the ball ? = Peter teria pegado a bola ?

Na interrogativa, começa a frase com o auxiliar do Conditional - Would + o sujeito + have + past participle ?
